HISTORY
The Chateau de Malleprat is a family property since more than 45 years. Located on the commune of Martillac, the Chateau de Malleprat have an old origin being reproduced on the 4° edition of the "Ferret" book in 1881.
Mr. Frederic COTS, purchaser of Malleprat left the vineyard in tenant farming
there to devote itself to his passion, the breeding of racehorses to the centre even of the property.

There is more than ten years, Mr. Jean-Claude COTS took again the
exploitation of the 15 hectares vines. It gave little by little the vineyard in
value, of the wine storehouses were realized and the principal house was
entirely renovated to accomodate guest rooms there.
With any stock of bottles, Mr. COTS initially passed by the channel of the traders to diffuse his wine, then little by little he creates for itself faithful customers with private individuals, cavists and restorers of the area.
Today with almost 15 hectares of vines and due to the passion of a man for the wine, the Chateau de Malleprat proposes a wine of quality in the prestigious name of Pessac-Léognan.
